It is so great to be back for the 2022-2023 school year. This is my second year at Barkers Mill Elementary. I am a native of southeast Ohio, where I went to Ohio University and received my Bachelor of Science in Communications. After graduating college I moved around the United States with my husband who served 20 years in the Army as a Black Hawk Pilot. At our last duty station, in Louisiana, I taught First Grade for three years. When we retired to Clarksville in 2018 I went back to school to get my Master's in the Art of Teaching from Austin Peay State University. I graduated in December of 2020 and started at Barkers Mill in February of 2021.
