Hey y'all! I am super excited to be working with the students at NWHS this school year. I am going into my fourth-year as an educator within CMCSS. My objective for this year is to help students learn more about themselves and how to be successful in their eyes. I believe this will help students in-turn be more successful when launched into the workforce and/or secondary schools.

My office is always open if anyone ever needs anything!

HAVE A GREAT YEAR VIKINGS!

Students will follow school and district expectations in the classroom by learning and modeling good citizenship through interactions with the classroom teacher and peers. The following are non-negotiable classroom expectations:

  • Punctuality -- Students should be in their seats and working on their bell-ringer when the bell rings. Students should have all materials already ready and do not need to be up and moving about the classroom. You will be marked tardy if you are not in your seat when the bell rings.
  • Preparation -- Students should bring all materials to class each day, to include: a charged laptop, their consumable textbook, novel, a writing utensil, and/or any work that was assigned.
  • Participation -- Students should be active participants in the classroom, asking questions for clarification, and fully engaging with their peers academically.
  • Procedures -- Students are expected to know the policies and procedures and follow them appropriately. Students should ask for clarification if they are confused or need further assistance. All school and CMCSS policies are also applicable to this classroom.
