The best way to stay informed about your child's academic performance is through PowerSchool. PowerSchool allows you to see your child's grades as soon as they are entered by your child's teacher. You may sign up for notifications that will keep you informed about your child's progress as well.

We are a military family. How can we be sure our needs will be met?
As the closest elementary school to Ft. Campbell, Barkers Mill has a large military population. In fact, over half of our students are military dependents. Teachers have been trained on military life and factors that may make deployment and reintegration stressful for children and families. School counselors are available to meet with students who have social, emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulty during these times, and the school has a Military Family Life Consultant who can provide resources to military dependent families who need additional support.
For more information, please see Focus Video: CMCSS Support Military Dependents.
New Security Procedure
In order to eat lunch with a student or attend school events during school hours, you must show identification and be listed on the emergency card. Family members eating lunch with their students are only permitted to go to the cafeteria and back to front office. Please do not go to the students classrooms.
