Welcome to First Grade at Liberty Elementary. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this school year. I know we are going to have a fun filled year of learning and adventures.
A little introduction about myself: My name is Mrs. Dashonda Norman. This is my second-year teaching in Montgomery County Schools. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Special Education (K-12) in 2017. When asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, I wanted to be a teacher! I was in the First Grade when I made that decision. I had teachers and mentors that inspired me during my childhood education that left a forever impact on who I am today, which lead me into knowing that my place in life was teaching.
