School is a place to learn and as such is an extremely important part of your child’s life. All students have the right to work in an atmosphere conducive to learning. Disruptive students have no right to interfere with this learning.
The school-wide expectations will be sent home. As well we keep a sheet to record behavior to allow us to identify times/locations of misbehavior. Below you will find the codes used.
- Not following directions
- Disrupting the class
- Not doing his/her work; lack of participation
- Hurting a friend on the inside
- Hurting a friend on the outside
- Disrespectful/talking back
- Misbehaving in the hallway, bathroom, lunch, or specials
Consequences:
- Warning
- Student will complete think about it form and discuss with teacher
- Parent contact
- Guidance referral
- Office referral
