Hi! I'm Rhett Timmons, and I am so excited to start my fourth year here at Barkers Mill. I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. In 2019, I received my Bachelor's of Music in Music Education from Austin Peay, and in 2023 I received my Masters of Music Education in Orff Schulwerk through the University of Memphis. I believe in the power of music to enrich our students' lives and empower them to reach their highest potential. Students can expect to sing, dance, and play games and instruments when they come to music.

Every student brings a unique musical perspective to the our classroom, and we value everyone's contribution. We are not expected to play every note right or never miss a beat. In fact, mistakes are where we grow. However, we are expected to bring our best attitude, effort, and focus to the music room.
