Hello Bobcat families!
My name is Valerie Flippen and I teach 4th grade math and science.
I'm from Clarksville and am a product of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. I attended Barksdale Elementary School and then joined the Rossview Middle and High family. I went on to get my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Austin Peay State University and then ventured on to get my Masters of Arts in Teaching. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, our two year old son, our two dogs, and the rest of my family and friends. I enjoy reading and travelling. I believe ALL children can learn and that the first step as a teacher is determining how children learn best. I also believe that keeping an open line of communication between teachers-parents-and students creates a positive, rewarding, and successful learning experience. Here's to a great year!
