Attendance Counts

As we are approaching the holidays, please be mindful of attendance. Every second of instruction counts. We have
several students who have frequently been tardy or dismissed early. Please consider attendance when you are
scheduling dentist or doctor appointments. This also goes for late arrival and early dismissal. If your child is
frequently tardy or dismissed early, they are missing valuable instruction in the classroom and we want to make
sure that we make every second count.
Below is the RTI (Response to Intervention) schedule for each grade level. Please try to avoid your child(ren) being
absent during these times, if at all possible. Just a reminder, we have less than 80 days until our TCAP in April. We
are working on incentives for students who show up consistently as well as students who are improving with
attendance. More details to come on this!
